As a continuation of our activities in Prijedor Municipality, NDC Banjaluka organized a seminar " Reconciliation as a precondition for democratic development of local community". This seminar was organized in the period of 10-17th of November at Nansen academy in Lillehamer for a group of influential leaders from two major ethnic groups in this municipality.
The aim of this activity was to open space among our participants on dealing with the past issue which is our main objective for 2007.In this work our participants admitted that the process of dealing with the past has to become a serious effort of all involved sides for building a sustainable peaceful local community. 

Besides our main work at Nansen academy this trip to Norway was also a great opportunity for our participants to get to know the principles of  Nansen Network, to get insights in functioning of the Norwegian municipal institutions, and to visit some important political, societal and cultural institutions and see what can be applicable in their own communities. By being outside from their original communities, which are burdened with the consequences of war, they could easier define the strategy for further work and seek potential solutions for their current problems.
This group of Prijedor participants also visited Norwegian parliament and  Embassy of bosnia and Herzegovina in  Oslo.
