On 29th of July, in cooperation with Prijedor Municipality, NDC Banjaluka organized a dialogue seminar for representatives of multi-ethnic local communities from this Municipality.

Seminar was conducted as a response to the needs of our participants and partners from Prijedor. Through the joint work and this activity we wanted to open a space for dialogue and exchange of information about current problems in multiethnic local communities of Prijedor as well as to get additional information on projects and activities implemented within the Muncipality of Prijedor concerning those communities. We also wanted to talk on current status of refugees, returnees and IDP-s on how to improve inter-ethnic communication with Prijedor municipality institutions.

A special attention was given to the security situation in Prijedor municipality and to the Project “Police in community”.

The aim of this activity is to assess the needs for multiethnic communities within Prijedr Municipality, and to try to connect potential partners for further work on development a strategy for improvement and promotion an inter-ethnic dialogue in this city.
